The Highland
Links, located in Cape Breton Highlands National
Park, is a true links course. Designed by Stanley Thompson,
this course received a 4 ½ star rating in Golf
Digest’s (2002) Best Places to Play. Thompson’s
adage that “Nature must always be the architect’s
model” is unmistakable in the design of this course.
Bell Bay
Golf Club, located in Baddeck, NS, Bell Bay was
ranked 56th Best Course in Canada by ScoreGolf Magazine
(2003) The magazine also rated the course #1 Most Underrated
Golf Course in Canada. Designed by Thomas McBroom, this
7037 yard course takes full advantage of the natural
landscape. The last four holes have been noted by some
as being the “best finishing sequence anywhere.”
Glen Arbour
Golf Course, located just twenty minutes from
Downtown Halifax, this is a golfers dream course. Designed
by Graham Cooke, this 6800 yard course is both challenging
for forgiving for any golfers level of experience. This
course also offers a nine whole course and manicured
practice range.
The Links
at Crowbush Cove, located on the North Shore
Dunes on Prince Edward Island. Rated 4 1/2 Stars by
Golf Digest Places to Play, this course is definitely
a must play on anybody’s list. Score Golf Magazine
rated Crowbush in the Top 2 Best Value Golf Courses
in Canada.
